Crop Management Field Tour

Join us for our Crop Management Field Tour at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Portage la Prairie Research Farm for a morning of learning and connection!
This farmer-focused field tour will feature informative sessions on:
- The impact of precision planting compared to traditional seeding in soybeans and canola
- Nutrient management
- The impact of crop residue management on weed populations and soil moisture
- The use of controlled traffic farming to manage soil compaction and water infiltration
Following a busy morning of sessions, lunch will be provided for attendees from 12-1 p.m.
The cost to register is $30. Farmer members will be given a rebate of $10 for each host association they are a member of (Manitoba Crop Alliance, Manitoba Canola Growers Association and Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers). If you are a member of all three, this event is FREE!
