It Pays to be a Member
Each year, our farmer members invest millions of dollars into the future of our industry, in the form of check-off contributions.
Our responsibility at Manitoba Crop Alliance is to invest those check-off dollars into meaningful, independent research, communications, farmer programs, and targeted advocacy to help our members become more productive and sustainable.
These projects deliver value back to farmer members in a variety of measurable ways. Some examples are highlighted in the images seen here.

There are many other reasons why It Pays to Be a Member!
MCA farmer members:Â
- Can participate in on-farm trials through our Research on the Farm programÂ
- Are eligible to become a delegate on one of our four crop committees: wheat and barley, corn, sunflower or flax
- Can vote at MCA’s Annual General MeetingÂ
- Receive family eligibility for MCA’s bursary program
- Receive complimentary copies of MCA’s print publications The Fence Post (two issues per year) and The Focal Point (one issue per year)
