Great Tastes of Manitoba

Great Tastes of Manitoba

MCA is proud to sponsor television series, Great Tastes of Manitoba (GTOM), as they reach consumers and share stories about how food is produced in Manitoba, and provide tips for choosing and preparing locally grown ingredients. The show recently celebrated their 30th anniversary and the first episode of season 32 aired on September 11, 2021.

Last season MCA worked with GTOM to produce a farmer profile video featuring Anastasia Kubinec and her family on their farm near Holland, Manitoba. Click on the article below to view the video.

Fields to Forks

Another initiative MCA is proud to be a part of is Fields to Forks with Bell Media. Fields to Forks has been airing in Eastern Canada, and has just begun airing in Manitoba and Western Canada this year. This partnership is an opportunity to work with Bell Media and utilize their TV, Radio and Digital platforms to provide consumers and end-users with insight to how farmers are making a positive impact to business and the environment, and learn about food processing and consumption. MCA recently worked with Bell Media to produce a video profiling farmer member Doug Martin from East Selkirk where he operates a family farm.
