Objectives:
  • Objective 1: Genomic/cDNA sequences of wheat gibberellin metabolic genes and their respective homologues.
  • Objective 2: Wheat stem height/bending strength controlling genes and novel molecular variants/alleles for optimum stem height/strength.
  • Objective 3: Candidate germplasm lines with enhanced lodging resistance, and highly qualified personnel in the area of wheat genomics.
