Video: A Manitoba Farm's Sustainability Story

Manitoba farmers have great stories to tell about how the food they grow is produced in a safe and sustainable way.

Manitoba Crop Alliance (MCA) was proud to work with television cooking show, Great Tastes of Manitoba and Frank Digital over the summer to produce this farmer profile video featuring one of our MCA farmer-members, Anastasia Kubinec. Together, Anastasia and her husband, Myles along with their three sons and her parents, Reg and Barb, manage and operate their family grain farm near Holland, Manitoba. The farm has been in their family for generations and the land has continuously been managed with good stewardship, ensuring that they can take pride in producing healthy and safe food for Manitobans and people all over the world.

This video was created to share the positive story around common crop protection and management practices that happen regularly on Manitoba farms with consumers. MCA considers sharing these messages with the public to play a very important role in creating awareness of the agriculture industry and bridging the gap between our farms and today’s consumer.
